For those that have talked about freezing bin Laden's assets, this from this morning's Wall Street journal:

"But going after the bank accounts of terrorist like Osama bin Laden could prove far harder. For years, Mr. bin Laden has been known to use Islamic banks in Persian Gulf states such as the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain and US efforts to track that money and to staunch the flow have hit stiff resistance among banking and government officials in the area, said one former Clinton administration official who asked not to be named."
