James no one is speaking about it, but the whole affair was a terrible failure of the FAA, Air Controllers and Air Force and the involved airlines.

They had the airplanes on their radar screen for over 20 minutes not on the anticipated route ....... enough time to intercept them with a military airplane but for some reason communication between AA, United and Air Controller and Air Force failed or we do not know.

There is no excuse why the second airplane hitting WTC was not shot down the intend was clear by then.

Most saddening is the fact that no TV network or any one in the administration brings that issue up or taking responsibility for the lack of preemptive action.
