I'm fine, thanks. Where I live is a "bedroom community" for Manhattan. Many live around here because by bus or train we are 20 or so minutes out of Hoboken/WTC or Port Authority (MidTown). I understand the small town next to me lost over a hundred people. That may be an exaggeration however. I can see Manhattan Island from the hill I live on, for several years I exited the PATH or Ferry right at WTC. After the 1993 bombing I moved my trading to my house. Although I've been a guest on several of the trading floors affected you are correct; these days it would have taken a heck of a lot to get me to the WTC by 8:45 EST. Thank God for my lazy approach to work. It appears, thus far, that most or all of my friends are safe......and for them and myself I am thankful. For those less fortunate I am very sorry. I'm told some children have been taken out of school here.........not to tell them that their father or mother are gone, but instead that both their father and mother are gone. New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and I am certain the Washington District have all become a family and I hope this sense of family pervades the entire country.
