In What Sense Are Terrorists Cowards?
slate.msn.com

In truth, notions of "cowardice" and "bravery" are
entirely irrelevant when we contemplate the horrors of
terrorism. To call a terrorist "cowardly" is to substitute
testosterone for morality.

I think I agree with the author.

You said,
"I'm not going to call you anything other than wrong"
heheh, I will now continue.

I suspect terrorists are single-minded,
brainwashed, robots--trained to hate and kill.
This seems entirely different from what I think
of as a coward--I'll look it up in Webster's,
but when I think of a coward, I think of a person
who cowers in a shadow, afraid to stand up for
what he believes.

Obviously a 'believer' can be wrong, ignorant,
maybe evil. I keep trying to imagine what Christ
would say about all this--but Christ probably
would not judge anyone. I am not a Christian, but
I was brought up as one, and Christ seems to me
to be an excellent role model--but I think I
probably have more of the Old Testament in me....

I think it is a useful exercise to have this off topic
discussion while our biotechnology stocks are not trading.
I wouldn't sweat that too much.
