Re: BRK, I think some people/institutions would want to dump it, hoping to pick it up later at lower prices. Long-term investors like me, will stay put. If it gets close to book-value (around 40000) I will try to pick up some more.

Re: JDSU, I am sure I am not exaggerating when I say that tech investors don't read annual reports. I have come across several people (both in person and online) to whom the only thing that mattered was a rising stock price. And I don't think they were exceptions to the rule. That was the rule, and maybe still is.
