Charlie Rose had three writers on his PBS show, (David Halberstam was one) and they all remarked on Bush's performance in relation to Rudy Giuliani and how Rudy has been very strong. The prejudice against Bush is pretty high if they are making comparisons rather than simply praising Rudy.

None here have said it but nevertheless I get the feeling some would be quietly pleased if Bush had been taken out in one of these incidents. They do not see him as a human being, but merely as a source of their bitterness.
