Merrill Lynch doesn't accurately say any number missing. I heard they occupied 50 stories, but they don't seem too affected by that though. I guess they keep it cool as well, not to scare people more.

"Merrill Lynch this morning evacuated approximately 9,000 employees from its offices at the World
Financial Center and other offices in lower Manhattan. "

Of course everything is saved on computers.
