Prepare for the conscription of young males. A large land war in the Middle East cannot be waged with our existing forces. When your sons and grandsons return home in a body bag, this current atmosphere of revenge-taking and jingoism won't seem nearly as satisfying and romantic as it does today. Think critically, soberly. We are about to embark on a terrifying course. And you can forget your cushy "retirement" plans--the policy makers have in mind a new era of "sacrifice".
