Hi Haim -

>>Yes a a new Marshall Plan to reconstruct their economies and societies with new education and prosperity will work but getting there well?<<

Wow, Haim. Do you really think it would work? Because we are soooo there, if it will.

But the old Marshall plan had the remnants of a genuine economy to deal with. Honestly, the existing structures were probably manned by more competent people than our own government could provide. There was a hand-in-glove approach. The existing principals in various financial institutions who had either fled Europe, gone into hiding, or tried to live with the Nazis were extremely experienced.

As you know, it's not an easy business to learn. The personal element is so important.

As for the rest of it - education, sanitation, housing, health care, security - we can do that doing the backstroke in our sleep.
