John, Re: All our choices. We have extrapolated one rare and unusual event to our everyday life, exactly what the terrorists bank on. The odds are so remote of a repeat that they are almost infinitesimal Are you so sure ? After this incidence, it is now quite clear that every plane should be treated as missile(the expert estimated it is about 1/20 the power of the nuke dropped on to Hiroshima) and some very tough(may be cruel) measures have to be implemented in particular the cockpit, like under no circumstance the pilots have to give up control of the cockpit, no matter what happened in the cabin.
