I think they need to fire them all and replace with highly trained workers - Ones who are trained to look for suspicious behavior. or even armed servicemen, a regular sight in many foreign countries. What good are security checkpoints if they are manned by minimum wage workers who always seem to hate their job.

I have flown out of LaGuardia in NYC and Newark airport recently. I noticed they were too busy chatting to even watch the monitor while my bags were going through. And every time the metal detector went off because of someone's belt buckle, all attention went to that and bags just floated right on past without even a check.

In France last year, security was a totally different story, it was obviously taken very seriously...
