I think this is one of the most intelligent statements I have heard all week long. The consequence of being unaware of the government's actions and not participating in the process is that we get what we don't want. I just want to add that this lack of interest is somewhat by design. It is in the best interest of the inept politicians to keep the public in the dark so they can live free of scrutiny.
