<<I would like to see them prove that to the insurance companies.>>

You mean like Berkshire who expects a $3b loss & is long silver? I've been thinking about this question(despite what is said on CNBC):

Why would it be "UnAmerican" to short those Wall Street companies which will be taking a hit in profits? If so, why wasn't it just as "Unamerican" when those same firms shorted gold silver & the "American" mining companies which produce the metals?

Why is it just business when they profit our our backs, put mining firms out of business, even going so far as to destroy black lung insurance pay-outs for miners?

I ask again, "Mr. Greenspan, When will the double edged blade of creative destruction cut both ways?"
