THE SLEEPING GIANT HAS BEEN AWAKENED. By the time we are done it's possible that Bin Laden et al may even wonder why they ever considered becoming a terrorist. IMHO, this will be a sustained and costly war on terrorism. There is A LOT of resolve in Washington and across the country. This will be a long, hard struggle -- a multi-billion dollar...multi-year campaign. It's very unfortunate what our country had to experience this week yet it may actually have provided a wake-up call. We have to work to understand the root causes of terrorism but there has to be A STEEP PRICE for the viscous brand of terrorism that the fanatics delivered in New York and Washington.
