I've been impressed with what I've heard from Colin Powell so far in this crisis. Bush's greatest skill is in selecting the people to work for him and letting them get on with and seeking their opinion IMO. I wouldn't have voted for him if I was an American (I'm a British and Australian citizen, I've also lived in the US 5 years and Israel 5 years) and have been worried by some of his moves over the last few months but actually I get less worried about him as time goes on.
