Velo, with all due respect- and I have alot for you and alot of other technical readers.. but not a single thing in ANY chart could have predicted this turn of events, and furthermore- any technical readings next week are completely worthless as the markets are going to be reacting to so many factors that it makes it virtually impossible to derive anything from the trading patterns. Some of these factors include communication problems that still and will exist next week, lack of participants and just pure confusion and fear.. World markets and their participants would have to be insane to hold into this weekend with this uncertaintity..

Incidently- the comments this morning from the taliban sure didnt help and markets immediately responded.. down..

I would feel safe in saying that all the overseas trading this week is completely and entirely irrelevant.. and incidently- whether it was a TA call or a FA call (my preference) it didnt take any rocket scientists to predict the market would be at new lows going into September.. In fact, I think American Spirit was the only person who faught that notion and he has the scars to prove it.. Where alot of us disagreed was where the bottom was.. I see no other way to play this other then just stay out and get a day job for 3-6 months, or slowly take positions and hope that the world gets control of this insanity.. If worse case scenario happens and God forbid chemical weapons or nucleur bomb- does your money have any value on the sidelines? I doubt it..

just ramblings.. im scared/confused and nothing makes for a worse mindset to play the markets.. but this weekend im going to try gto get a grip and the above is where I start my thinking..
