<<Did you see the coverage of Clinton in NY yesterday?>>

Jill: I did see the coverage...Clinton is / was the great communicator. Yet, I feel we should not move too quickly to judge President Bush and his potential. Some journalists are even doing this. IMHO, there is a very emotional side of President Bush. Yet, he tends to be a much more private person than many of the recent Presidents we have had. This new War on Terrorism will define Bush's presidency and will give him a chance to project a new image as well. Even though I don't always agree with Bush I WILL SUPPORT HIM during this challenging time. I feel he has some very wise and experienced advisors around him. It's important for him to clearly communicate that we are in for a long, hard struggle. He will focus our energy on 'a war effort' -- something at least on the magnitude of The Gulf War (yet, it should contain a lot of diplomatic tactics as well). It's important for Bush to reach out and get input from many different sources as he develops our plans to respond to the tragic terrorist events. I feel he realizes that we MUST act in a very powerful and thoughtful way. Lets hope he rises to the occasion.

Regards,

Scott
