The kids are doing okay. Today they went to school but it was still chaos because school started two hrs. late and no buses were around. I called in I wasn't going to work. So I gathered all the school children at bus stops and brought them to school because no one knew of the bus schedules...I can smell the fire in the air...all the way from Queens...we can also see the clouds which have subsided (we are close to the city and have a view of the sky line...) so no matter how much we try to get back to routine there's constant reminder. I don't let the kids watch tv ...they are sick of hearing about it and were very eager to get out and go to school.I heard powerful airforce crafts over head...yesterday that seemed to rock the borough...felt like a war zone! I feel just very heavy and morbid........
