BB I truly do not know what to expect after the first hour on Monday, I do expect a lot of volatility and unexpected moves. In my line (you only refered to half of it in you comment) you will also notice I made reference to a decline as well. I covered both angles because I expect all the efforts of the fed and government to avoid a wash out on the first few days of trading. Or they let her go and then come in when it looks bleak and restore some sense of market calm. The FED will PUMP many $$$$$$$ into the markets and economy over the next five days.

The Federal Reserve purchased $70 billion in government securities on Thursday; on a normal day the Fed buys or sells a few billion dollars of securities.

Asia and Eupope have pumped in over $80 billion since Tuesday.

Also we are hearing big firms announce share buy backs ( don;t kid yourself, they were tapped on the shoulder and encouraged to do the patrioctic thing and support the right of the free market by buying their own stock back. You will see many more of these announcements ove the coming days. H&R block added to their repurchase plan today as well. The fed will not lie back and let it unfold into a panic which is why I say , I have no idea what to expect. I know one thing, there will be a name associated to next weeks market and it will make it in the history books i just don' t know what it will say .
