Many of these agents have lived here for months, if not years...makes this attack even more stunning These agents most likely came here to perform a mission and they completed it. I doubt they came here to learn about America. I am sure they did not get to know even their immediate neighbors and unfortunately neither did their neighbors get to know them, or perhaps this unprecidented tragedy could have been averted. Privacy is king in America. We are strangers even unto ourselves. Hostage effect? The hostage in captivity may be forced to acculterate as a matter of survival. Or for a rich girl like Patty Hearst, who may have previously lived in a golden cage, it may have simply inspired the Robin Hood in her. Good to hear from you again, my friend.
