That IS beyond beautiful. It's a definite read aloud. I read it to Myers, who twitched an appreciative ear and yawned. Today is a day where some things seem oddly in focus, and others almost invisible. My short-term memory is really in trouble. I got in the car, had no keys, went back to the house, found keys, got in car, noticed the back door was still wide open, went back and closed door, noticed plant needed watering, stopped to water, got in car, had no keys.... My dear friend just called-- her pilot husband is home! They are on their way to their lakehouse and their sons - both in colleges near enough to do this- I am soooo jealous--- are driving down to spend the weekend. They want to be close to their dad.
