Lee - It wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong. I'll check it out further, but I'm pretty sure that INCE owns several patents relating to PIC, however there are five (5) other companies licensed by the original inventors to produce using the technology. 2-3 of the licenses are non-exclusive, the rest exclusive.
Details are in one of my prior posts:

I know I've posted sections of the recent 10-Q, last years, 10-K, and the most recent prospectus that duscussed this in detail. I've also recently spoken to one of the 4 founders of PIC regarding this matter, as well as Paul Metzinger. But, there's always the chance I misuderstood what I read, and what was discussed. It's best that I dig back into the documentation and post direct quotes.
PS: I don't think it is INCE's intention to produce directly. The production line is ready to produce by hand, but not on an automated basis (which is where the serious money could be made according to one of the original founders). Meztinger says that IINCE doesn't have the cash to finish the line (to automate the line), and therefore it appears there intention is to seek production partners. Meztinger has stated more than once, to more than one person, in the last 1o days that he's very optimistic that INCE will have a relationship with a interconnect company by year end. |
