I'm sure Cheney is very much working behind the scenes, he's a smart man. There may be some threat we don't know about. In thinking back, I realize one of these articles made a good point--that there might have been a nuclear threat, and for that reason Bush waited to return to Washington. I think it's necessary & smart to separate them, I just wish we'd heard a peep from him this week, and I'm glad he'll talk Sunday. It may be that once they've totally figured out their policy, he's the one who will deliver it in a speech on Sunday. Who knows.
