<Radical Islamic groups, strongly represented in the Pakistani military and tacitly supported by the government, are destabilizing the country and the region and providing critical support to the Taliban regime in neighboring Afghanistan.

"By facilitating the activities of the irregulars in Kashmir, the Pakistani government is inadvertently promoting internal sectarianism, supporting international terrorists, weakening the prospect for peace in Kashmir, damaging Pakistan's international image, spreading a narrow and violent version of Islam throughtout the region, and increasing tensions with India--- all against the interest of Pakistan as a whole."

Tekuboi-san, thanks for the links.

From the sidelines.

1.....Revamp and reconstitute the United Nations so that it can actually possess countries, as self-governing protectorates, which have fallen into disrepair with no government and bulk murder.

2.....Inform Pakistan that they are not authorized to possess nuclear weapons.

3.....Send UN inspection teams into Pakistan and confiscate all weapons grade fissionable material and tritium too if they have it.

4.....Invade Afghanistan using UN Pakistani troops on the southern half and Indian troops on the northern with USA, Nato, Russian and Chinese support. New Zealand will supervise as UN inspectors.

5.....Write out a constitution for Afghanistan.

6.....Do the same with Iraq which does have a government but not one which is acceptable due to mayhem creation in the region. Chechnya and a few other places could be fixed up too. New Zealand and Russian troops would like to help in taming Chechnya [they hacked off the head of a New Zealander and left it on the side of the road along with some USA heads].

Some angry USA troops might like to lead to soften up any opposition so that Pakistani and Indian troops don't get any significant opposition but provide huge numbers of military police to maintain order after angry USA troops have squashed any opposition.

That should be enough for the next couple of months.

There are other places which need similar civilizing United Nations Colonisation influences. By the way, Condominium Rice is not in the small amount of news I see [I'll do a Google search to see what she's up to].

Afghanistan can be made safe for humans and CDMA in no time at all.

Discussions with India about their need for nuclear weapons could also take place. I'm pretty sure they'd think they don't really need them after Condoleezza Rice had some discussion with them and they saw the benefits of mutual defence via United Nations. But they might want some agreement with China before going too far along that idea.

We really don't want any nuclear bombs in the hands of people like the World Trade Center attackers. Pakistan seems a likely supplier. So does Iraq. Better check on Libya too.

Then Sharon and Israel are informed that the United Nations is going to sort out some sort of self-governing country for Palestinians who have been refugees for too long since Israel was blunderingly dumped into a religious maelstrom after WWII. Kuwait could be reamalgamated into Iraq - the Kuwaitis were made arbitrarily rich by arbitrary division from Iraq when Kuwait was created.
