Postings here may be in response to messages to individuals, but they are posted to the whole thread. Your post seemed to me, as I read it, to suggest that the bombings were our own fault. A political equivalent of the Jerry Falwell speech. (I bet you love being compared to Falwell!) A discussion of our political relationship with the Moslem/Islamic/Arab world is appropriate at certain times and places. But a day or two after this disaster, saying to people here who might be friends and relatives of people killed in the attacks that it was our own fault that their friends and relatives got killed, doesn't resonate with me as having much sensitivity.
