That's my point. They are animately by religious zeal. You don't like that, so decide to "consider the term" 'religious' to exclude them.

Go ahead. It's magical thinking, and you can't make their religious zeal go away by declaring it non-existent, but you can give it shot, I suppose.

It is also VERY DANGEROUS. If you do not understand the forces that animate the threat to you, you are disadvantaged in dealing with them.
