Ok, so we send a handful of troops into Afghanistan, find Bin Laden, kill him, transport him back to the US, where we hang him in front of Times Square wrapped in pig skin for all the world to see. The Taliban can't hand him over, but they don't have to protect him. What is so hard about this?
We then leave that Taliban alone to rebuild their country as they see fit, and we lift the sanctions. Voila!!
