You know its always okay for the other guy to do it...Just not America..germany yes Japan yes..Arab nations yes... Yes, Rich, you are absolutely correct. Either you believe in your principles or you don't. What makes this country great is that - for the most part - we don't just talk the talk, we walk the walk. Even when it results in what some would say are "preventable" tragedies to our own, and when we are forced to forgoe certain forms of retribution. That is precisely what makes us so strong. America is closer to being that "Shining Beacon" than any other country on the planet. That will not be true if we act the way those we despise act. Knocking down the towers was insanely "wrong" by virtually any ethical standard, but it can NEVER be so wrong as to make a response of indiscriminate slaughter "right". Not if we truly believe in America and what is stands for.
