You are questioning the effect that shorting has on the market. The following posts are the ones I alluded to: Message 16353386 siliconinvestor.com Message 16357012 and particularly this: Message 16355679 I've told you, I am a trader. That's how I make my living. I know how the market works and have no reason to believe that shorting is unhealthy for the market. I've told you in a number of posts today why I believe this is so. It is certainly not unpatriotic and I resent the characterization that it may be. As far as I'm concerned, you are questioning how I make my living and are offering no facts or arguments. This angers me. I'll consider the subject closed unless you'd like to continue, but I'll offer nothing else to you unless you bring me facts, theories, an argument.....something other than your concern.
