Fortunately for her Ann Rand was not born and raised in a totatilatarian state, so she was free to write inane platitudes, to go along with her cardboard characters. Ayn Rand was born in Czarist Russia and heard the first shots of the revolution in 1917- St. Petersburg. She escaped Soviet Russia in the early 20's and made her way the America. One of her comments about living in the Soviet State was that Americans have no idea of what it is like to be always hungry and scared of everything and anyone. She hated statists and really despised people like you.
