Christine: As you were one one of the earliest writers on this thread back in the days of those famed and trenchant missives from Maurice Winn (whose cautions may have been somewhat premature, but ultimately vindicated) and others, it is delightful to hear from you again- although from the sound of it, you, too, have been smitten by stinging paper losses. As to this exasperating shell game, I commend to you the recent posts, especially from the past two weeks, in this thread. The way I fancy it: we had a three slice pizza pie. Neild removed two slices for which we shall receive a direct 20% consideration. The optimists tell us that our remaining slice is a fortified slice. They say it will burgeon and grow and once again make us whole. In any case, the consensus among optimists and pessimists is developing for a six month window of toleration. If the com- panies do not pass muster after that time period, there is a dis- tinct possibility of legal artillery being brought forward to the front lines.
