Many missed it (the reference to a long time), but I'm
sure it wasn't scripted by mistake or by accident.

One general rule is that US president must first cover
the domestic situation, that dilemma of the 2-party balance,
the next election and tax cut or credit.
(checks and balances, could be worse)
