Joe,
Airline fault?...umm sorta like blaming the police because your house was broken into ....after all, if there was a cop outside your door, no one would break in right ?....but what would your taxes be ?

Let's start with the flying public demanding lower prices

Low paid bagage handler's, ticket agents, etc, etc....

Do you remember the sky marshals back in the 70's ? Also low paid, and the public really got upset when the found out he had a gun...ohhhh a gun, how terible...and as a result of loosing a seat to a paying customer, and decreasing revenue, that idea was dropped....

All this is about to change tho...the airline industry is getting smaller...Midway went out of biz a few days ago....Contenental just today said 20% fewer flights, and layoff of 12,000 employees.....Staay tunned, more will follow...

Just how much more are you willing to pay for that plane ride ?

I think the door should be reinforced and that all pilots should be armed...no warning shot's...shoot to kill, but then you have the bad guy with a plastic pen to the throat of the stew...oh pardon me, flight attendent it is now huh...Tiz a problem isnt it....
