If you believe what BP Ritchie is saying about technology, I would like to suggest that we have found the way to apply our years of high performance file service to the Internet.

This technology will change the entire model of Internet access, and the cache engine it is built on is NetWare. I believe that "content routing" will be to packet routing, what packet routing was to bridging. BorderManager will probably be the first commercially available "content router".

In the past all of the high performance capabilities of NetWare were to provide fast, secure access to data on the file server volumes. BorderManager is simply NetWare using the Internet as the file system! All the benefits of security, all the acceleration of a optimized protocol engine, and all the performance of the NetWare cache subsystem.

The internet space is about to enter into a whole new world of data access and storage.
