Rarebird, you may wish to direct your comments to all of the living and fallen Canadian and US veterans of WWII who voluntarily signed up for foreign duty and sacrificed their lives, health and many years of their lives in Africa and Europe. At the same time you might think of some words to say to those men who liberated many from slave labour, concentration camps and a sure and dismal death at he hands of the Nazis. If you have a mission to accomplish, I have one question for you--What have you been waiting for? For someone who claims to have a Ph.D. in philosophy you have a very strange way of expressing condolences. As a matter of fact there are no condolences whatsoever. You should have called yourself Coldbird. The only feeling expressed at all is that the event of some 5000 innocent lives lost might have some utility in your expressed mission. Message 16350916 I can understand the body anger expressed by the gold tutor over a surprise and devastating attack upon innocent civilians. If you can witness such an event and not feel some body anger then there is something wrong with you. Your sentiments are of a whole different order. "Congress needs to declare War. A Draft needs to be instituted. Those who object should move out of the U.S.A. If they refuse to move, they should be killed, executed." We may never know the exact cause or precipitating factor which lead to the order to carry out the suicide bombings on New York and Washington. But when the emotions cool and people examine the preceeding events with a fine tooth comb there will be questions asked. War and events of this nature are the ultimate failure of diplomacy and communication. I sincerely hope that there was more at stake here than a few acres of occupied desert that some intransigent B*****ds would not unconditionally relinquish. The reason that Saddam was sent packing out of Kuwait was purely and simply bcause nations are not allowed by international law to expand their boundaries by military force. That same principal must apply to everybody or else we end up with international lawlessness.
