Truth is: We don't have the resources to make anyone who would have this mentality fearful of committing such acts. Correct but perhaps our actions can persuade those who are not religious fanatics to remain where they are instead of joining with bin Laden and the Taliban. Only a proper combination of bombs, troops, and diplomacy will prevent this from becoming the Western World vs. Islam. I hope we can do it. I get the feeling that the real winner in all this will be China. Look at all the perks they are getting already...
