thanks. I indeed had a nice trip, but now the memory is now faded in the face of this terrible crime. all the prayers will not bring back those people. Not even war and death of Bin Laden and shoving a Tomahawk up Mulah Omar's nose will bring those innocent victims backs.
The war will be a patient and long and sustained. I believe a part of this war must be fought on the US soil. This reminds me of something I read years ago. George Washigton once receives a ntoice of British toops committing atrocities in a small town. He moves his troops there and finds drunk Americans firing in the air! His report to the Congress was: "We have found the enemy, and they are ours!" I am not sure if I got the story right, but it gets the message across, I hope. These criminals lived in America, used Amrican cars, bought their groceries from the same store you and I buy our groceries and when they entered the country, the entered the legally! They even took flight lessons!!! I ask where CIA and FBI have been all along? Weren't they supposed to protect the people?
Therefore we should fight the war partially in the United States by the tightening-up the internal security. We can kill Bin Laden, but there are many others like him.
Last but not least, there are 7 million moslems living in the United States, and we should not mix-up these people with the terrorists just because they are Moslems.
Our lives will nevre be the same. |
