Quite so. Bush has painted himself into a corner with his war talk and now has either to cool the situation down to an anti-climax or make rash moves that will make the situation much worse in the long term.

This probably won't be a CNN war and if it is, then god help us.

BTW I think such a thing won't happen again even if there are no new security measures because the passengers will know what's likely to happen and fight as probably happened on the fourth plane.
