Interestingly, I was an anarchist (syndicalist, not libertarian) at the same time I was a pacifist. (Syndicalism is true industrial democracy. Enterprises are worker owned, and management is elected.) When I dropped pacifism, I dropped anarchism. Appreciating the role of deadly force and coercion in human affairs, I decided that having a government to determine and enforce rules was, in itself, and with due safeguards, a good thing. Still, of course, I remain wary of "too much of a good thing"<g>......
