I must emphatically disagree about this being "Vietnam like". Those of us who listened to our parents know that compared to WWII Vietnam was just an expedition, although it did drag out. Try to imagine what it was like fighting where the future of the whole western world was truly at stake, not just in the minds of the politicians and others bent on fighting Communism on all fronts even where it didn't make sense. It is my sense that this historical change is just beginning. Unfortunately, I suspect that we have a long ways to go to see just how bad things can get. I hope I am wrong !!!!!!!
