Conflict...Republican Agenda....Presidential Resolve...

For the past ten years or longer the Republican cry has been less governmental interference with business.

The first nine months of the Bush Presidency we have seen some of this take place. Less enforcement of government regulation. Almost dropping the case against MSFT. etc.

The new initiatives announced by Bush imply a whole lot more regulation....

1) Banking Regulations...(trace the money)

2) Technology transfers...(keep the best technology here)

3) Communication Monitoring and Encryption... (some re- thinking needed)

4) Transportation..(Air, Train and Bus)limitations and refunding of alternative forms of transportation.

These new initiatives run contrary to the Republican agenda.

Any thoughts on the these matters?

Regards, Jerome
