Keep in mind that we were working with a UN resolution that spoke only of liberating Kuwait. The very people who now criticize not taking Saddam out in many cases were people who didn't support the action with a YES vote in the first place. I cringe when I hear the hypocrisy flow from their lips. God only knows what type of political vacuum of instability we would have left had we toppled the Hussein government. Maybe the events of tuesday would have been avoided had we taken Saddam out.......And maybe they would have come sooner and been worse.
