Very interesting story, thanks. I've heard before about the religious crazies throwing acid in the faces of women who don't wear the veil. Always strikes me as odd, how much of religious fundamentalism is targetted towards controlling and oppressing women. Listening to our Christian fundamentalists, it seems half the time their ranting is about women being too liberal. And the Islamic crazies are maybe even worse. I wonder why that is?
