A specious argument. While we cultivate the world's support and universal condemnation of the terrorist acts, ULTIMATELY we will protect our sovereign soil and our people. We should and do welcome the support of our allies. But they will not dictate our response. At this point I have confidence that our government will respond with NECESSARY force and diplomacy. One of the tools of persuasion is a "credible" threat of the full force of the US.
