Anyone want to speculate on military strategy to win this one? "In this landscape America will have to be prepared to garrison each valley and cliff top. In this landscape there are uncounted thousands of mountaintops and valleys " The guy is wrong. Our forces will not enter Afghanistan with the goal of conquering and occupying the country. Or to "garrison each valley and cliff top". Smashing bin Laden and his cohorts, along with the Taliban leadership, will be the military directive. It's been plainly stated that this is not a war on Afghanistan or any other country. It's a war on terrorism. Kill the queen bees in the hives, cut off their financing and support, and the nests will die. This is cancer surgery, not euthanasia.
