The people that treated the Vietnam Veterans badly probably have their sons and daughters at risk now, the time period is right. They are all in the 40-50 age bracket, and their children would be the age group going to war.
I hope this time people use a little common sense and recognize the sacrifice that the soldiers make for their behalf and don't behave as shamefully as they did in "our" war.
Reading some of the posts that have been portraying us as the guilty and not the victims, reading some of the posts that portray our soldiers as having lost already, reading some of the posts that are designed to lower morale and not boost it, makes me wonder though.
