Don't forget that we have declared war against ALL terrorist networks and cells. This would include those in Pakistan who threaten to destabilize the government.

Give the folks in Washington credit for thinking of that possibility long before some journalist published it. Bush stated publicly that he had a long personal conversation with the Pac leader. Don't you think that those issues came up in their conversation?

Anyone who thinks about it realizes that the secret cells hiding out in Germany and France are eventually going to perform their mischief. Angering them, or not angering them, will not change their objectives. The only way they will change their minds is when they are put out of business.

Also, never forget that journalists around the world tend to be left leaning and they have more contacts with, and input from, the liberal thinkers than they do with the the conservative side. Therefore, they are more inclined to report what they hear. They are just as lazy as the rest of us and that is usually the easiest way to get info for a story.
