It would behoove us to find out if they really do have such devices. But it would not behoove us to panic and over-react thinking they definitely do have them either until we can find out.

I note that today's story from the Boston paper is the same details as the one attributed to Israeli sources you posted from several years ago. This correlation suggests the same source. In evaluating it you might realize that having people think you have nuclear capability is about $70,000,000 cheaper than actually having it.

It would be a startling lapse in intelligence if resources have not been all over this. But then there is also the serious lapse we are still digging out from under.
