Sorry for grouping the two posts together. I thought I acknowledged your earlier reply - I will go back and check. I have absolutely no problem with the official remarks of our government. I think they have been well within the bounds of good taste and demonstrated considerable understanding of the problem at hand. I'm not concerned about the calling of the reserves - it is undoubtedly necessary considering the greatly reduced size of our armed forces (vs. previous emergencies/incidents and no criticism intended or implied re: size) and their new responsibilities, however temporary.
