Giga-Byte Technology Announces GA-7DPXDW Motherboard for AMD's Multiprocessing Architecture

First AMD Multiprocessor Platform from Gigabyte - GA-7DPXDW

Taipei, Taiwan -- June 05, 2001 -- Giga-Byte Technology today announced the
GA-7DPXDW motherboard for the new AMD Athlon™ MP processor and the AMD-760™
MP multiprocessing chipset for one- and two-way servers and workstations. The AMD
Athlon MP processor with Smart MP technology is the latest member of the AMD Athlon
family of processors that offers unsurpassed x86 multiprocessing capability.

The Giga-Byte GA-7DPXDW supports 266MHz FSB and contains four PC2100 DDR
memory slots for up to 4GB of memory, it has 2*64b/66MHz and 3*32b/33MHz PCI, 1
AGP Pro, Intel 82559 LAN and Promise 20265/20267 RAID controller for IDE RAID 0,1
0+1 support.

I saw this over at Ace's (http://www.aceshardware.com/) where Johan noted that this was the 760MPX with 64 bit 66MHz support. No boards listed on PW, yet.
